Jeane M. Freeman, 100, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 peacefully at her home. She was born October 2, 1906 in Kokomo, IN to the late Charles and Carrie Wenger. She worked as a payroll clerk at William H. Block Company for many years, and was a volunteer for Community Hospital East for 25 years.Jeane was preceded in death by her husband Estel D. Freeman. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Betty Springer of Lake Forest, IL and Mrs. Wilma Hale of Indianapolis; her dear friend and caregiver, Judy Ferguson of Indianapolis; four nephews and two nieces. Services will be at noon, Friday, September 28 at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis with calling starting one hour prior. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
